” Adverb”
Adverb is a word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb or other adverb or a word group. Adverb can be used to show manner (how something happens) degree…. (to what extant) place… (where)and time…(when).
Adverbs of manner are usually formed by adding- ly to the end of an adjective as- quite becomes quietly… quick becomes quickly… late becomes lately…last becomes lastly.
Adverbs of frequency (always, never, often) … They often go for a jog in the morning.
Adverbs of degree (often, extremely, quite) … She runs extremely fast.
Adverb of place (here, there, everywhere) … I could not find him anywhere.
Adverbs of time (when, where how) I have an appointment today.
