    Vocabulary Lesson 39
    I listened to the audio and read along the vocabulary words with their definitions.
    Following two words are new for me.
    Shell: The word ”Shell” has multiple meanings depending on the context. Some of the common meanings are…
    1: The hard outer covering f an animal, insect or egg that protects it from damage.
    2: A container filled with explosives that is fired from a large gun.
    3: To remove the shell or pod from Pease, nuts etc…
    Skeleton: The word ” Skeleton refers to the internal or external framework of bone, cartilage or other rigid material supporting or containing te body of an animal or plant.

    Lesson 3.39.1: Year3
    Vocabulary Lesson 39.
    I learned new vocabularies and practiced pronunciation follow VOA video lesson. I try to understand meaning of those words.
    I get new words that it is necessary for daily using and communicating ways.
    1- shell – to fire artillery; a metal container that is fired from a large gun and explodes when it reaches its target; a hard outside cover.
    2- shelter – to protect or give protection to; something that gives protection; a place of safety.
    3- shock – to cause to feel sudden surprise or fear; something that greatly affects the mind or emotions; a powerful shake, as from an earthquake.
    4- shrink – to make or become less in size, weight or value.
    5- skeleton – all the bones of a human or other animal together in their normal positions.
