How to Be More Positive (Article 6)

You can do everything right, but if you don’t enjoy what you do, you won’t be motivated to keep going.

Being positive doesn’t mean ignoring reality. It’s about seeing the glass half full instead of half empty.

This is an incredibly important shift in mindset. Being positive doesn’t mean ignoring problems or setbacks. It’s about seeing the glass half full instead of half empty.

STEP 1: Stop Dwelling on the Past

One of the most common reasons why we’re unhappy is because we’re dwelling on the past. We remember all the times we did something wrong, or how we got upset with someone else.

Stop dwelling on the past. You’ll never change the past, so let it go.

STEP 2: Find Something to Look Forward To

It’s much easier to feel positive when you focus on the future. When you do something great, imagine the positive impact it will have on your life. This can even include small things like getting a promotion or starting a new project.

STEP 3: Focus on What You Can Control

Another reason why we feel down is because we’re focusing on the things we can’t control. We’re dwelling on the fact that we’re not living up to our expectations, or that someone else didn’t show up for a meeting.

If you’re focused on the negative aspects of your life, you’ll always be looking over your shoulder at what you can’t control.

STEP 4: Change Your Perspective

We spend so much time worrying about the things we can’t control, that we fail to take advantage of the good things happening in our lives.

Sometimes it can feel like nothing good is ever going to happen, but it’s amazing how much you can improve your life by just changing your perspective.

STEP 5: Find the Silver Lining

Life has a way of turning around when you stop focusing on the bad stuff and start finding the silver lining.

If you’re having a tough time, look for the good things that happened during the day. When you do, you’ll find that you’ve improved your mood.

How to be more positive (Articla6)
Dwelling on the past is the biggest roadblock from moving forward and life will move forward weather we are on board with it or not. We have to choose something that brings us joy or makes us feel energized, and we will be happy about what we did.
If we can focus on what we can control, instead of worrying about what we can’t control, we will win more battles with a lot less stress.
Find the Silver Lining means an advantage that comes from a difficult or unpleasant situation!
There is quote,” Focus on what you can control, Leave what you can’t.”
